Here are some tips for your maternity photo shoot. First, consider the timing of your photo shoot. Many women prefer to have their maternity photos taken in the mid-third trimester. By the eighth month, most pregnant women have sufficiently prominent bellies to photograph well. However you should also be aware of your fluid retention. If you begin to swell excessively, it is best to have your photo shoot before extreme puffiness sets in. Also, several hours before a photo shoot you should be sure to remove any tight-fitting clothing or apparel fitted with elastic as these may leave marks that are visible in your portraits.

Therefore photographs are generally taken in my studio, but we can also arrange to take them in your home or at another location. A successful photo shoot will take approximately 1-2 hours, so be sure to be on time and well rested. You can expect to see a preview of your photos within 24 hours of the shoot. You will receive your disk of high resolution images within two weeks and will then have the flexibility to print the images through any print service you desire.
